It was a warm and sunny September morning in Da Nang, Vietnam and my partner and I decided to make the most of it, travelling by road to Huế, a historical town located about 100 kilometers away. Monsoon was just setting in, and we had been lucky to avoid heavy showers for the most part of our travel in South and Central Vietnam.
